Description

The first hand held, cable free fibre-optic tool that takes the light from a high powered LED torch and converts it into a thin line of illumination.
The Under Door Torch from RVA Synergies provides white light illumination to aid inspection of garages, lock-ups, storerooms, cupboards etc from outside of a locked door.
When using endoscopes and video-scopes to inspect larger spaces, there is simply no way that the instrument can insert enough light into the void to enable a viewable image.  This is because of limitations to the amount of glass fibre or amount of LEDs  that can be built into the small diameter of the scope.
The UDT is a circular arrangement of optical lighting fibres that forms into a 120mm wide, 4mm line. The specially designed curved plate is inserted under a door. The weight of the torch and the main body of the tool naturally angles the light output 45° into the space beyond the door. 
Each UDT is supplied with the incredibly powerful yet small 'Quark' tactical LED torch - already used by police forces worldwide.  When under door illumination is not required, the 'Quark' is simply twist- pulled from the push-fit adapter and can be used in the traditional way.
