The LED-15 UV is now a viable replacement for traditional UV light sources that contain mercury vapour lamps. Mercury lamps contain quicksilver and ozon which are damaging to the environment. The LED-15 UV is clean technology.
On the front panel is a four stage light intensity control. The LED has an output wavelength from 370 to 392nm, and a lamp life of 30,000 hours.
Furthermore, at under £1000 the LED-15 UV is incredibly cost effective compared to mercury lamp type UV light sources.
