The endoscope:  The first item to consider is of course the endoscope. Rigid borescope or flexible fibrescope?

A range of superior quality flexible and semi-flexible micro endoscopes for accessing the smallest holes. This type of instrument is often used for inspection of aircraft turbine blades and fine tubing.

The IR360 is a flexible video-scope system with 940nm infra red illumination, suitable for discrete surveillance in total dark conditions.  The camera sensor is built into the tip of an armoured flexible probe with 4-way 360° articulation control.  The illumination is carried to the tip vis glass fibres, and  is switchable between IR (Red/B&W image) and white (Colour image).   This makes for a very versatile instrument.

The RLED180.AA is a powerful 180 lumen LED torch fitted that runs form just 1 AA battery.  Suitable for use with rigid or flexible endoscopes with an ACM male light guide input/post.  The adapter is screw fitting and creates a solid handle for the endoscope.

The RLED345.AA is a powerful 180 lumen LED torch for endoscope that runs from just one AA battery.  Suitable for use with rigid or flexible endoscopes with an ACM male light guide input/post.  The adapter is screw fitting via an M8.5mm thread and creates a solid handle for the endoscope.

LED Endoscope light sources are a superb alternative to conventional light sources.  The LED-15 has the high colour temperature of a Xenon light source but with the reliability and low maintenance cost of a halogen light source.
